1. Apply when sunflower is from the 2-leaf stage up to buttoning (BBCH 12–39), as long as field machinery can enter without damaging the crop.


2. Apply when annual weeds are actively growing with 2–6 developed leaves, and sensitive perennial weeds are starting to flower.
